MAISON CHANCE | "THE LUCKY HOUSE"

Maison Chance’s Take Wing Centre empowers people living with disability to choose and learn skills that enable them to “fly with their own wings” through independent employment. They also have the option to continue working with Maison Chance or pursue further education, including University scholarships. The village is a warm, supportive community where people feel valued and connected.

MADE FOR MORE

Every day, Maison Chance’s Take Wing Centre applies this saying: “If you give them a fish, they will eat it in a day. If you teach them how to fish, they'll eat forever."

We work with the Take Wing Centre, which is focused on vocational training and job creation for members with disabilities. Currently, the centre has four training programs: sewing, drawing, semi-precious stone processing, and IT.

Members choose a profession based on their interests. The entire Take Wing Centre is adaptable and designed for people living with disability.

Vitality & Community

Additional benefits include physiotherapy, aqua-therapy, medical operations, weekly dental care and other rehabilitation resources. These thearpies are available to the sewing team everyday to maintain their health and mobility.

Down-time at the village fosters a strong community spirit as people enjoy a range of fun recreational activities, from music to sport. Sports include badminton, table tennis, boccia, basketball and swimming.

Empower

Like AIM, Maison Chace is an incredible force for good in educating both their own team members and the wider community in need in Vietnam.

In 2022 alone, Maison Chance educated 385 Primary school children, provided 113 scholarships, trained 62 people in various vocations, provided healthcare to 648 people and housed 133 people.

Although we are more directly involved with the vocational training teams, we are honoured to support Maison Chance and the incredible work they are continuing to do in Vietnam.
