Maison Chance’s Take Wing Centre empowers people living with disability to choose and learn skills that enable them to “fly with their own wings” through independent employment. They also have the option to continue working with Maison Chance or pursue further education, including University scholarships. The village is a warm, supportive community where people feel valued and connected.

Additional benefits include physiotherapy, aqua-therapy, medical operations, weekly dental care and other rehabilitation resources. These therapies are available to the sewing team everyday to maintain their health and mobility.

Each sleep-mask is made of six layers of the finest mulberry silk, hand cut and assembled by highly skilled artisans, a process that involves infinite patience and precision.

Down-time at the village fosters a strong community spirit as people enjoy a range of fun recreational activities, from music to sport. Sports include badminton, table tennis, boccia, basketball and swimming.
